Glasco Turnpike

Glasco Turnpike crosses the River Sub tracks at the end of the Mount Marion team track siding. The post office parking lot provides a good place to await the action. The Saugerties defect detector will give a warning of approaching southbound trains.

Getting there: From the NY Thruway, take exit 20, Saugerties. Turn right at the exit onto Ulster Avenue, State Route 32. Then turn right onto Kings Highway and follow it south to Glasco Turnpike, County Route 32. A left turn will bring you to the tracks. Alternatively, coming north from Kingston on Route 9W, turn left onto Glasco Turnpike to the tracks.

Warren Myers Road & MP 96

The team track siding meets the main track at Warren Myers Road, at mile QR95.8, which can be reached by taking Kings Highway back north a short distance from Glasco Turnpike. Milepost 96 is just north of the crossing.
