Getting there: From the New York State Thruway, I-87, take Exit 18, and follow Rt. 299 east to Route 9W north to Esopus, Ulster Park, and Port Ewen.

CP 80, the northern end of the 4-mile-long double track that begins in West Park, can be found at Old Post Road in Esopus.

Getting there: From Route 9W, turn west into Old Post Road to the tracks.

An Interesting Meet: On October 17, 2008, Q410, from Waycross, Georgia, to Selkirk, New York, waits on the siding for its opposite number, Q409, from Selkirk to Waycross, carrying some unusual cars.
